FAQ'S

You have questions? We've got answers!

  • Where are you located?
    We're located in Rome, Georgia.
  • What are your hours of operation?
We do not have official hours because we don't have a storefront. Feel free to place an online order whenever. If you need to contact us, we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
  • Can I see your licenses and registration?
  • What if I have a question I can't find the answer to on your website?
Please feel free to contact CEO Kaneisha Smith by cellphone or email. You can call/text her at 706-252-3392 or email her at info@picklesdogbakery.com
  • Where can I buy your treats?
You can buy our treats online or at at any event we may be at. Be sure to check out our Events tab or social media to keep up with where we'll be at next!
  • Can you sell treats outside of Georgia?
We cannot sell treats to anyone living outside of Georgia. There is no federal body governing dog treats, so you must be licensed and registered in every state you want to sell treats in. We are only registered and licensed in Georgia right now. We are looking forward to expanding in the future!😁
  • Do you have a storefront?
Unfortunately, no. We are a small business and do not have our own store yet. However, if you want our treats, we are willing to mail them or make arrangements to get you your order. Please contact us directly.
  • How long do the treats last?
The treats last 3 months from the production date that's written on the label on the back of the bag. We dehydrate our treats and this allows them to last for 3 months.
  • What makes your dog treats different?
All flavors of Mr. Pickles treats have undergone lab testing and are registered with the Georgia Department of Agriculture. The treats have 6 ingredients or less. NO preservatives, dyes, or artificial flavors. We aim to keep our treats simple yet tasty for your pup.
  • How long will it take for you to make my order?
Please allow up to 7 days for us to bake and prepare your order. We need time to bake, dehydrate, and prepare your treats! Then allow a few more days if you are having the treats shipped. We'll give you a shipping number to track your order. *during the months of September to December, it may take us more time to prepare your order because we have many events to attend in this time frame. Order your treats 2 weeks before you need them to make sure we can get them to you in time!
  • What is a Guaranteed Analysis?
The Georgia Department of Agriculture requires that dog treats in Georgia are analyzed in an agricultural lab for a guaranteed analysis. This analysis guarantees the minimum percentages of crude protein and crude fat, and the maximum percentages of crude fiber and moisture. The "crude" term refers to the specific method of testing the product, not to the quality of the nutrient itself.
  • Do you have gluten free treats?
No. Our chicken and chickepea treat is made without flour, but if your dog has a severe allergy to gluten, this treat is NOT suitable for them. All of our treats come into contact with each other in the dehydrator.
  • Are your treats safe for cats?
Cats have different dietary needs than dogs. We may create cat treats in the future, but our treats are only intended for dogs.
  • How are the treats packaged?
We use high quality mylar bags to package the treats. They are odor resistant and about 5 mm thick.
  • What is a silica packet?
The silica packets are food safe and absorb moisture. Dog treats are placed into mylar bags with silica packets. DO NOT FEED THE SILICA PACKETS TO YOUR PETS!
  • What are orders shipped in?
Depending on the size of your order, you will receive treats in one of these options: • a teal bubble mailer • a smaller cardboard box wrapped in a teal water resistant poly mailer • just a plain cardboard box with a Shippo shipping label and/or Mr. Pickles logo
